International Yoga Day - 2017
An Invitation from Bio Basics

Experience this unique approach to yoga as the basis for health, well being and healing.
Yoga in the tradition of Sri. T.Krishnamacarya
While there are many schools of yoga, the tradition of yoga as taught by T.Krishnamacarya is unique for two reasons: one is the emphasis
on breath and second is customizing practice for every individual based on their life context (age, occupation, capacity, etc.).
Sri. T.Krishnamacarya, who lived for 101 years, was an ayurvedic vaidya, a vedic and sanskrit scholar, and a yoga teacher and
practitioner. He revolutionised the practice and teaching of yoga and brought it into mainstream.
While customizing practice for individuals who came looking for him when all else failed to help them with their physical health conditions, he kept diet and attention on breath as the pivots for any practice he would teach them.
