Pure hing, only the resin without any additives. This has a very strong aroma and needs to be used in very small quantity. Hing is known to be a digestive and a favoured condiment in vegetarian cooking. It comes from the dried resin of a plant from the fennel family. Traditionally, hing has been used as a digestive aid, added to legumes (beans and peas) and gas-producing vegetables. Please store the the hing bottle in another container to retain the aroma.
