How to Cook

  • Cooking the rice:

    • Put 2 cups of water in a pot and let it boil.

    • Once it's boiling, add the washed rice. You can add a little salt if you like.

    • Stir it gently, then turn down the heat to low. Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't overflow.

    • After 15-20 minutes, check the rice. It should be soft, and there shouldn't be any water left. If it's still a bit hard or there's water left, keep cooking it for a bit longer.

  • Fluff the rice: Take the pot off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a fork to gently stir the rice. This helps separate the grains.

  • Serving: Serve the rice hot with your favourite dishes.
