It was a Deepavali gift to my son . And he wears the Veshti rarely at home but likes to wear the NTional dress on occasions where there are other nationalities present as in a recent interview of his when he was being interviewed for his competency in translating BengLi authors’ works into English, though he his mother tongue is not Bengali . as a Tamilian this is a rare quality indeed for which he is being highly commended in his translation works.
