I have placed 2 orders till now from Bio Basics so this a collective review of the Rajmudi Rice, Rajma and few other products. Am pleased with the quality, packaging and delivery time. The best part is they have quantities that are helpful for a small and single person household which helps also because they are organic and don't need to lie on the shelf for too long and catch pests beyond control which will make the product go waste. This will be my go-to online store.

I had bought Gobind bhog some years ago and it was fantastic, rich aroma and very tasty. This one is not the same and not good at all.
Thankyou for reaching out to us and giving us the feedback. We get our Gobindabhog from a single farmer in Bankura , the same farmer from inception, who is also an expert seed saver and has been growing organic Gobindabhog since over a decade.
We got a couple of feedbacks about reduced aroma of Gobindabhog of this final batch from last season. A little reduction of aroma as the rice ages is natural, but very low aroma is unusual.
We have also been checking with the farmer and also our seed expert about this . And he says that it is the shorter winters and increasing temperatures that could be causing this.
Now the farmer/s and we have to figure out how to address this new challenge.
The next batch that is coming is from the fresh harvest. And the farmer says it has good aroma. We need to check what's happening this season.
For the last 3 years we are using Kerala Matta rice for our main meal . We are now hooked on to it . The higher cost in comparison to market is worth it .

It takes time to get used to the taste if you're transitioning from white rice. It would be helpful to have smaller pack options as a trial to help make the decision to change.
