Description
Nimful fragrant rice is a white raw rice with mild fragrance grown in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. This is a traditional rice of Dantewada, slender medium-sized grains, which cook easily, non-sticky when cooked, it is good for table rice, for young children and also for making special rice preparations.

Nimful fragrant rice is a white raw rice with a mild fragrance grown in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. This is a traditional rice of Dantewada, slender medium-sized grains, which cook easily, non-sticky when cooked, it is good for table rice, for young children and also, for making special rice preparations. Bio Basics get Nimphul rice from a PGS organic certified farming collective comprised of tribal farmers in Dantewada, in the Bastar area of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is known for being a secondary center of origin of rice and has the largest diversity of rice varieties in India. Bio Basics Nimphul is grown in small farms, organically, harvested, aged and then milled as a semi-polished rice.
Cook
Cooking: Cook in an open vessel with a lid with 1:2 water for a variety of rice preparations and 1:2.5 or 3 water for table rice.
Storage Instruction
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Add a few cloves, bay leaves or chillies to keep it free from infestation.
